Web design, development and SEO for small businesses.
I build custom websites that look sharp, load fast, and are set up to be found on Google. One person handles the design, the build and the search optimization, so nothing gets lost between steps.
Web design
Your website is often the first impression a customer gets. I design every site from scratch around your brand, your customers and the action you want them to take, whether that's calling, booking or requesting a quote.
- Custom layout, built for your business instead of a drag-and-drop template
- Mobile-first design that works on phones, tablets and desktops
- Clear calls to action placed where visitors are ready to act
- Page structure planned around search, so each page has a clear topic and purpose
- Drafts along the way, so you see the design take shape before launch
Web development
A good-looking site that loads slowly or breaks on a phone loses customers. I build each site as clean, fast-loading pages and make sure the parts that matter, like contact and booking, actually work.
- Fast-loading pages with optimized images and clean code
- Contact, booking and quote flows that are tested before launch
- Secure setup: your domain connected and HTTPS turned on at launch
- Analytics and conversion tracking, so you can see calls, bookings and form submissions
- Tested on real screen sizes from small phones to large desktops
SEO (search engine optimization)
SEO works best when it's part of how the site is built, not added afterward. Every site I build starts with the technical foundations Google looks for, and the content structure to match what your customers search for.
No one can guarantee search rankings. What a properly built site gives you is the best foundation for being found, plus the data to improve it over time.
- Technical foundations: crawlable structure, sitemap, robots file and canonical URLs
- Page titles, descriptions and headings written for each page's topic
- Structured data (schema markup) so search engines understand your business
- Speed and mobile usability, which matter for both visitors and search
- Local SEO for businesses that serve a specific area
- Search Console setup, with your sitemap submitted at launch
How a project works, from first call to results.
Four steps, with a clear outcome at each one.
-
01
Consultation call
We start with a call about your business: who your customers are, what you offer, how your current website is doing (if you have one), and what you need the new one to accomplish.
What you get
- A clear picture of your goals
- Honest advice on what your site needs
- No obligation to move forward
-
02
Proposal
After the call, I send a written proposal. It lays out what I'll build, the pages and features included, the timeline, and the cost, so there are no surprises later.
What you get
- Scope: pages and features
- Timeline and pricing
- A chance to ask questions or adjust before anything starts
-
03
Website launch
Once you approve the proposal, I design and build the site. You'll see drafts along the way and can ask for changes. Before launch I test on mobile and desktop, connect your domain, and set up the technical SEO and tracking.
What you get
- Your finished, live website
- Domain and HTTPS connected
- Analytics and Search Console set up
-
04
Review & analyze performance
Launch is the start, not the finish. After the site has been live long enough to collect real data, we review how it's performing: how visitors find you, which pages and buttons they use, how fast it loads, and how it shows up in search.
What you get
- A plain-English look at what's working
- Recommended improvements, in priority order
- The option to keep improving the site over time
